VERSATILE BEAUTY - Vibrant floral motifs of pure silk are masterfully hand knotted and blended with hand spun New Zealand wool and silk by master artisans, creating these exquisite designs. Further, each piece is then finished by hand-carving around the pure silk, creating an embossed, polished appearance. Silk Flower is luxuriant beauty.

LONG LASTING - Its hand knotted construction ensures durability and no shedding.
STAIN RESISTANT - Easy to clean and made to last for a lifetime. Can be spot cleaned for easy maintenance.
HIGH QUALITY MATERIAL - These rugs can withstand decades of heavy traffic and still look as good as the day you brought them home.
PILE HEIGHT - Rugs with a pile height of .45", are tightly knotted and dense. Because they are durable and require light vacuuming, this height is ideal for high-traffic areas such as entryways, living rooms and dining rooms.
MATERIAL – WOOL & SILK - Silk is considered a luxurious fiber because of its high sheen and soft “silky” feel. Though it is considered fine and delicate, do not be misled, silk is extraordinarily durable. When wool & silk are used to make a rug, the rug has more dimension and usually provokes a more eye catching appearance. Many times the field, or base, of the rug will be wool, and the design will be in silk, which makes it pop. These two fibers make a winning combination both aesthetically and functionally. Not to mention wool being an insulator as well as flame retardant
CONSTRUCTION – HAND KNOTTED -  The process of hand knotted, which involves hand weaving and knotting each individual strand of fibre used for these rugs. As a result of this process, the production time is much longer, which is why hand knotted rugs are often the most expensive type of rugs available, however they have the added benefit of being extremely long lasting. Hand knotted rugs are often one of a kind pieces, and can be the type of rug that is handed down through family generations.

 PROPER SET-UP & CARE

Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean, white dry sponge or cloth. For hard-to-remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.

To protect your investment, use a rug pad. A rug pad provides traction between the rug and floor to prevent slipping, adds cushion, and improve durability.

Vacuum regularly without beater bar. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Vacuum full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion.

Should you encounter a crease, it can be easily removed through the process of reverse rolling. Start by flipping the rug upside down and roll in both directions (length and width). While rolling the rug exert pressure where the crease is visible, this will loosen the foundation to allow the rug to lay flat. For more stubborn creases, keeping the rug rolled and tied for a few hours in a reversed position may be more effective.

Rotate or reposition your rug and/or rug pad every 3 months. Rotating your rug will promote even surface wear, extending its life and decreasing the likelihood of the rug pad or exposed rug back adhering to the floor surface where they are placed. Store your rug by rolling it front side out and wrapping in cloth for protection. Do not fold or store rug in an airtight plastic bag. Place it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
