PROPER SET-UP & CARE
Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean, white dry sponge or cloth. For hard-to-remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.
To protect your investment, use a rug pad. A rug pad provides traction between the rug and floor to prevent slipping, adds cushion, and improve durability.
Vacuum regularly without beater bar. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Vacuum full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion.
Should you encounter a crease, it can be easily removed through the process of reverse rolling. Start by flipping the rug upside down and roll in both directions (length and width). While rolling the rug exert pressure where the crease is visible, this will loosen the foundation to allow the rug to lay flat. For more stubborn creases, keeping the rug rolled and tied for a few hours in a reversed position may be more effective.
Rotate or reposition your rug and/or rug pad every 3 months. Rotating your rug will promote even surface wear, extending its life and decreasing the likelihood of the rug pad or exposed rug back adhering to the floor surface where they are placed. Store your rug by rolling it front side out and wrapping in cloth for protection. Do not fold or store rug in an airtight plastic bag. Place it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
