A timeless Persian rug that will add soul to your home

VERSATILE  BEAUTY - Moud rug design  are easily recognizable and also enjoy an excellent reputation. They are meant to instill a sense of the sublime in both their design and use of colour. They not only show the skill of the weavers, but also that of the dye works that produced the vibrant hues. This rug uses both warm and cool colours to produce contrast and to make the various elements of the design stand out.
The Mahi pattern of Moud carpets is dominant and immediately identifiable. In most cases it covers the major part of the surface. Some carpets also have a central medallion reminiscent of a star or hexagon. The strong colours are mostly taken from the colour ranges blue and red. With a contrasting ivory background, the colours shine even more.

LONG LASTING - Its handknotted construction ensures durability and no shedding.
STAIN RESISTANT - Easy to clean and made to last for a lifetime. Can be spot cleaned for easy maintenance
HIGH QUALITY MATERIAL - These rugs can withstand decades of heavy traffic and still look as good as the day you brought them home.
PILE HEIGHT - Rugs with a pile height of 1 cm, are tightly knotted and dense. Because they are durable and require light vacuuming, this height is ideal for high-traffic areas such as entryways, living rooms and dining rooms.
MATERIAL – 90% WOOL & 10% SILK   - Wool is a natural fibre that has many benefits. It offers soundproofing, it is stain resistant, also it hold 30% of the moisture so that in the summer time it is cool on your feet and in the winter time it is warm. As wool ages it looks better and wears for generations. They do not shed and they are extraordinarily durable and clean easily. Not to mention wool being an insulator as well as flame retardant and indestructible.
CONSTRUCTION – HANDKNOTTED -  The process of handknotted, which involves hand weaving and knotting each individual strand of fibre used for these rugs. As a result of this process, the production time is much longer, which is why hand knotted rugs are often the most expensive type of rugs available, however they have the added benefit of being extremely long lasting. Hand knotted rugs are often one of a kind pieces, and can be the type of rug that is handed down through family generations.

 PROPER SET-UP & CARE

Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean, white dry sponge or cloth. For hard-to-remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.

To protect your investment, use a rug pad. A rug pad provides traction between the rug and floor to prevent slipping, adds cushion, and improve durability.

Vacuum regularly without beater bar. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Vacuum full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion.

Should you encounter a crease, it can be easily removed through the process of reverse rolling. Start by flipping the rug upside down and roll in both directions (length and width). While rolling the rug exert pressure where the crease is visible, this will loosen the foundation to allow the rug to lay flat. For more stubborn creases, keeping the rug rolled and tied for a few hours in a reversed position may be more effective.

Rotate or reposition your rug and/or rug pad every 3 months. Rotating your rug will promote even surface wear, extending its life and decreasing the likelihood of the rug pad or exposed rug back adhering to the floor surface where they are placed. Store your rug by rolling it front side out and wrapping in cloth for protection. Do not fold or store rug in an airtight plastic bag. Place it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
