HIGHLIGHTS

VERSATILE  BEAUTY - “Choob” literally means wood and originally is a Persian word. Chobi rugs soften the boldness of the traditional rugs in order to give a muted and antique look of natural wood color that was desired by modern fashion industry.
LONG LASTING - Its hand-knotted construction ensures durability and no shedding.
STAIN RESISTANT - Easy to clean and made to last for a lifetime. Can be spot cleaned for easy maintenance
HIGH QUALITY MATERIAL - Chobi rugs are among the most desired and most popular rugs in the western world particularly in North America. It was originally developed in turkey under the concept of Ziegler carpets. The design and weave of chobi became famous all-over the world and hence all major carpet manufacturers in Pakistan started developing it.
PILE HEIGHT - Rugs with a pile height of 1 cm, are tightly knotted and dense. Because they are durable and require light vacuuming, this height is ideal for high-traffic areas such as entryways, living rooms and dining rooms.
MATERIAL – WOOL   - Wool is a natural fibre that has many benefits. It offers soundproofing, it is stain resistant, also it hold 30% of the moisture so that in the summer time it is cool on your feet and in the winter time it is warm. As wool ages it looks better and wears for generations. They do not shed and they are extraordinarily durable and clean easily. Not to mention wool being an insulator as well as flame retardant and indestructible.
CONSTRUCTION – HANDKNOTTED -  The process of hand knotted, which involves hand weaving and knotting each individual strand of fibre used for these rugs. As a result of this process, the production time is much longer, which is why hand knotted rugs are often the most expensive type of rugs available, however they have the added benefit of being extremely long lasting. Hand knotted rugs are often one of a kind pieces, and can be the type of rug that is handed down through family generations.

Proper Set-Up & Care

Should you encounter a crease, it can be easily removed through the process of reverse rolling. Start by flipping the rug upside down and roll in both directions (length and width). While rolling the rug exert pressure where the crease is visible, this will loosen the foundation to allow the rug to lay flat. For more stubborn creases, keeping the rug rolled and tied for a few hours in a reversed position may be more effective. Occasional vacuuming will keep this rug in great condition. Use care when vacuuming; place the beater bar and brush at the highest setting as to avoid excess wear, refrain from vacuuming fringe. To ensure even wear and tear from foot traffic we advise rotating this rug every six months.

Soft to the Touch

The pile height of this rug provides an ideal combination of density and performance; a dense surface that is soft to the touch and pile that holds up against foot traffic.
